A message from Gail Penberthy, CEO

I wanted to let you know that we are committed to doing everything we can to support our service users, staff and volunteers during this difficult period.

To ensure the safety of our service users, staff teams and volunteers and following the guidance issued by the Government, we have made a decision to close our buildings and offices to visitors from Monday, 23rd March, 2020 until further notice, with the exception of our office at Gallery House in Leeds, which we anticipate will close within the next couple of days. The majority of our staff teams will begin to work remotely (offsite) from this date.

I want to assure you that our services will remain open, through all of our usual routes of communication, such as via telephone, Skype, FaceTime, text and email. We are wholly committed to continuing to provide ongoing information, advice and support. Please know that we are here to support you so get in touch with us, especially if you are feeling vulnerable during this difficult time. As the situation around us evolves, we will need to respond flexibly to ensure ongoing service delivery.

We have created an action plan for every one of our services which identifies how we will continue to support our service users during the Coronavirus outbreak.

Our senior management team are in daily contact to progress and update on our response plan and all of our managers and staff teams will be briefed as long as this remains necessary.

We will be updating our communications as and when new information is available through our communications routes such as on our website and through social media so you can keep up to date on developments. We will also be posting specific information on local websites and social media so please do check there to look for updates.

Whilst we are undoubtedly entering a period of uncertainty, please remember we are here to help you as best we can and would encourage you to contact us if you need information, advice or support.
