Firstly, Merry Christmas to you from all of us at BID Services Lincolnshire!
For the past year, we have been busy with lots of activities and events for our Chance to Meet Service and we have planned many more for next year! You can find out all about what we’ve been up to and our plans for next year in our second edition of the the Chance to Meet newsletter, which is now available to download.
BID’s Chance to Meet service provides sensory impaired children and their families with opportunities to meet, socialise and share experiences across the county of Lincolnshire. We welcome all family members and activities are either free or have a small charge.
The Service is funded through donations, and allows the whole family to take part in a range of events. Activities currently taking place include pizza making, sport events such as sailing, music sessions and sensory activities at local parks and nature reserves. We also hold a weekly youth club in Lincoln for young people aged 8 – 18 years.
